The steps for adding a graded discussion in Blackboard are slightly different depending on which course view you are using.
Original Course View
1. Within your course, navigate to Content, open the Build Content menu and select the Harmonize option
2. In the Institution Tools section, find and select Harmonize
3. In the resource selector that appears, click on the Discussion option and select Create New
4. Enter a name for the discussion, select the Graded option, enter the appropriate number of points and click the Create Discussion button
Ultra Course View
1. Within your course, click on the + button in Course Content and select the Content Market option
2. In the Institution Tools section, find and select Harmonize
3. In the resource selector that appears, click on the Discussion option and select Create New
4. Enter a name for the discussion, select the Graded option, enter the appropriate number of points and click the Create Discussion button
