To import automatic machine-generated captions to your video, click "Edit" for that video:
With the video editor open, click "Captions" in the left menu, then select "Import automatic captions" from the "Import captions" dropdown menu:
Note: if you recently uploaded your video into Panopto, it may take a few minutes for the "Import automatic captions" option to appear while the system processes your video.
Important: Make sure to click "Apply" at the top of the page to save the captions!
You may also click on the caption text to edit it. Click "Apply" again to save.
Your captions will be ready in a minute or two. When a video has captions, you will see a small CC notation under the title:
